Welcome

Greetings

If you have stumbled upon this blog, you are probably either in the Cohort or a friend or family member of one of the members of the Christian Jewish Seminarian Trip to Israel/Palestine Cohort (boy that's a mouth-full!). The goal for this blog is to be able to have different members of the Cohort blog at least one time about their experience. Usually there will be one Jewish Rabbinical student and one Christian Seminary student. We might even get our leaders to post once or twice!
If you would like to learn more about our program, you can go to www.auburnseminary.org/~aubsem/cjsp.

The cohort includes Christian students from a range of denominations - Presbyterian, Lutheran, Episcopalian and Pentecostal. They come from Princeton Seminary, Union Seminary and General Theological Seminary.
The cohort includes Jewish Rabbinical students from many different traditions including - Orthodox, Conservative and Reform. They come from Hebrew Union College - Jewish Institute of Religion, Jewish Theological Seminary, Yeshivat Chovevei Torah, and Yeshiva University Rabbinical School.

So, please follow us as we go on this journey throughout Palestine and Israel to learn about each other's religion and issues regarding multi-faith dialogue in the region.

Peace.
